3 buckets of garbage from a factory near our house, lots of crazy shit here. Come back in a few to see what this crap turns into
So this is our first post on tumblr. Basically what we’re trying to do here at arts and crap is show that beauty can be found in anything. We do that by creating art out of anything, using garbage, household items, standard art supplies, tools, wax, etc. Arts and Crap started out as a hobby for my brother Chun. It started by him doodling in his notebooks in class, pretty soon he was painting anything he saw, pants, backpacks, guitars, guitar cases, amps, shirts, belts, walls, anything. Then one day a tree fell on our old cluttered garage during a storm. When the new garage was built Chun now had his spot. Spending hours every day jamming, painting, or putting crap together. Though never taking a formal art class until a drawing class last semester he’s has developed his own unique style. Anyway over time the garage ended up getting filled with paintings, creatures, and different art projects he has worked on over the last few years. Anyway I thought his stuff was pretty cool and I figured there has to be other people out there that would appreciate his work so we started this blog. Anyway here are some pictures around the garage, more will be posted when more pieces are complete. enjoy
